622nd Regional Support Group

The 622 Regional Support Group consists of the Regional Support Group staff and the assigned geographically separated units (GSUs). The 622 Regional Support Group staff is collocated with 22nd Air Force at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, GA. The staff includes the Commander, Aeromedical Evacuation, Chaplain, Civil Engineering, Communications and Information, Historian, Medical, Personnel, Plans, Public Affairs, Security Forces, and Services.
The mission of the 622 Regional Support Group is to provide command, management and oversight of the plans, support, medical, and aeromedical functions for the 14 Air Force Reserve wings, eight Air Force Reserve bases, and command and control of 16 geographically separated units. The 622 Regional Support Group ensures the combat readiness for its units that are wartime gained by Air Mobility Command, Air Combat Command, Air Education and Training Command, and Air Force Material Command.

The 622nd Regional Support Group has 99 personnel on the staff, and approximately 971 unit personnel for a total of about 1070 Air Force Reservists.
