Chief Master Sgt. Imelda B. Johnson, the 22nd Air Force Command Chief Master Sergeant, visited Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Feb. 9th, 2019. During her stay, Johnson met with more than 35 Air Force Reserve non-commissioned officers.

During the meet-and-greet, Johnson opened the floor to the Airmen so they may voice their questions, concerns and experiences within the Air Force Reserve structure. The group discussed many topics: the optimization of training, commissioning opportunities, Airman retention, ramifications of a possible government shutdown and benefits concerning retirement and higher education. Johnson said that the purpose of the event was to pass on knowledge and to get people to start thinking outside the box and sharing their expertise.
