Eye on the Target

Tech. Sgt. James Corbett, a member of the 30th Aerial Port Squadron, attributes the principles taught by one of his favorite authors, Mr. Dale Carnegie, to his Aerial Port team's success in the Materials Handling Equipment drill. In the MHE exercise, Aerial Port members have only a short amount of time to complete a series of on-loading and offloading drills. "I kept reinforcing to my team the need to keep the end goal in mind and not get caught up on the little problems along the way," he said. The continuous reinforcement of keeping the end in mind led his team to being among the few teams who finished the course in the alloted time.
