RED HORSE
A special needs student catches a football from an instructor while participating in the Therapeutic Equestrian Program at the TERI “Campus of Life” in San Marcos, Calif., June 9, 2015. With the help of instructors, the modern horse takes on the role of therapist. For the student, program benefits include, increased strength and muscle tone, improved balance, flexibility, head control, and hand-eye coordination, as well as improved concentration and enhanced patience, self-esteem, and social awareness.
