Team work makes C-40 mission successful
Executing the mission: The 932nd Airlift Wing's Maintenance Group (MXG), is responsible for leading people who train and equip Airmen to inspect, maintain and repair Air Force Reserve Command C-40C planes at Scott Air Force Base. The 932nd MXG's management improves the wing's professionalism and enables the 932nd Operations Group's C-40C pilots and flight attendants to fly distinguished visitor (DV) airlift around the world, anywhere they are needed by the nation's leaders. Here, maintainers prepared to make inspection checks in the cockpit aboard the plane on a winter day, January 2, 2020 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The Illinois unit is part of 22nd Air Force, under Air Force Reserve Command, and flies four of the C-40C planes worldwide. The wing also has a diverse Medical Group and Mission Support Group with jobs ranging from nursing, to security forces and explosive ordnance disposal , to medical technicians, doctors, critical care teams and civil engineers.
